Etiquette and Dance I

This Program was design to empower kids with basic rules of etiquette and social dance so that they can handle any social (or business) situation comfortably and with grace. This program will build the foundation where true ladies and gentlemen are individuals who exercise consideration, sensitivity, honesty, trust, responsibility, loyalty, compromise and respect for others.

The classes are entertaining, making the learning process easy , effective and fun. The dancing part provides the means to add the extra fun in the learning manners process while giving our hormone-driven teenagers students the opportunity to inter-act with the opposite sex in a non-threatening environment. On the other hand, a dance course without etiquette seems a waste of an opportunity to instill good behavior patterns in our young students.

Timing is crucial to enroll students into Forever Dancing Kids Etiquette and Dance Program. The most effective window of opportunity for this training occurs in pre-teens when they first become aware of the opposite sex. This usually occurs in Grade 6 or 7. (11, 12 and sometimes 13 years old). On ages 10 and below the information may go right over their heads. The window of opportunity dwindles rapidly, and parents have increasingly less influence as time passes. When the students are 13 or older they may resist attending the class because they do not see the value of it themselves when many around them are not showing this type of behavior, even if parents are.
After gratuation students on seventh and eighth grade (7th and 8th grades - 12 to 14 years old) should progress into Etiquette and Dance II. This class is open for the parents that wish to take the classes with their children.
