All Tango instructors from the DC metropolitan area and their students are invited to participate on the VI Annual “Tribute to the Tango Dancer” with some inspirational performances and great Tango parties. The goal of the tribute is to inspire new dancers to participate in our great Argentine Tango Community and also to promote local Tango instructors and other Tango Events.

Benefit for Students:
1-Students will learn a lot in preparing for their showcase number.
2-Students will feed the need of one to express a tango, with no limitations of moves, space and at their favorite music.
3- A Tango performance gives a great sense of accomplishment.
4- Performing students are really inspiring and motivate others to dance tango.
5- Showcase open the opportunity to students to be recognized by the tango community, friends and family.
6- Students have a lot of FUN!

All participating students will receive Certificate of Participation. And a you tube link of their performance to show to other friends and family.

How to participate:
1-Save the date: January 28, 2012. Make a plan with your partner (Pro or Am). Start practicing. Fill out the Showcase Form below. Add your check and send to Forever Dancing. Receive your tickets and decide who to invite to see your show. Attend also the workshops and make the Tribute to Tango, your special weekend of Tango. Come back on the following day, January 29, 2012 to learn more and enjoy two Workshops with Special Guest Jorge Torres.

Benefit for instructors
1- The biggest benefit for a instructor is with no doubt, the opportunity to bond with their students and teach them in a motivated state of mind. Instructors will find their students focused and excited about learning for a performance.

2- Instructors will find this event a great way to promote their services. The instructors contact information will be in the program of the event and a brief Tango Biography/Experience will be also available on the web page of the event.

All participants, except participating professionals, will need a ticket to access the ballroom during workshops, show and party. No exceptions.

There are four ways for Argentine Tango Instructors to participate:

1. Transform your students into a  Tango Star. Enroll them to perform on the VI Annual
   “Tribute to the Tango Dancer ”showcase Each instructor can have a maximum of 5 students/dances. Music should be no longer that 3 minutes and presented to the DJ already edited (if necessary) no later than 8:30 PM. The tribute has limited number of presentations for the show, the presentations will be taken in order of enrollments until the show is completely full. The enrollment is done by the student. The Enrollment for the Pro/Am and Amateurs showcase is done by submitting the Showcase entry form below with an enrollment fee of $50, which includes the ticket for the student performing to the Show/Milonga. Showcase entry form and enrollment fee are to be sent together to Forever Dancing LLC, 5818-B Seminary Rd., Falls Church, VA 22041. After receiving form and fee. Instructor will receive a confirmation email with instructions.
2. Teaching a Workshop: Any local participating instructor will have the opportunity to teach workshops and receive a payment. In order to enroll for teaching a workshop the instructor must have one student performing per workshop request or to be an event promoter. The request below should be sent by mail or e-mail after or with student enrollment. After request approval, instructor name, class description and short bio will go to the web page of the event. All teaching instructors, contact phone and email will be available on the event program.
3. Performing with Professional Partner. It will be an honor to have you perform. The Tribute prize and promote all participating instructors.. So please let us know, ASAP about your participation so we can serve you better.
