Constantino Bastidas and Susan Reynolds, founders of Tiempo de Tango, are known for the style and passion of their tango. Their choreography and performance in the 1997 Library of Congress presentation, The Golden Age of Tango, marked the beginning of the company. Over the past few years Tiempo de Tango has collaborated with musicians such as Alborado, Quintango, Musica Aperta, Siempre Tango, and both the Fairfax Symphony and the Baltimore Symphony to bring a variety of tango productions to the metropolitan area and beyond. In 2001 they were awarded a commission to create Piolin, Tanguero Sonador for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of Performing Arts for Everyone and the Millennium Stage. Piolin and Desde la Orilla, Tiempo de Tango productions which each drew finalist nominaions for Metropolitan DC Dance Awards, were performed also at Dance Place. Most recently Constantino and Susan created and performed a history of tango through dance for the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. Constantino has taught tango for more than 10 years and Susan has taught with him for the past 8 years. They teach private classes in their home studio and offer group classes periodically in a variety of venues such as City Dance Center at Strathmore and Black Rock Center for the Art.
Carina Losano is a native of Buenos Aires and has studied many forms of dance,including ballet, contemporary, modern-jazz, flamenco, and salsa, but she is internationally recognized for her mastery of tango. Carina trained with many of the great Argentine tango masters that were part of the famous show “Tango Argentino”.
Carina taught students from all over the world at the revered Confiteria Ideal in Buenos Aires before moving to the US. To deepen her understanding of the history and structure of tango, Carina took classes at the Tango University of Buenos Aires on the theory and interpretation of tango music, tango style and technique, and tango poetry. She was appointed a Cultural Ambassador by the Secretary of Culture of Buenos Aires in 2000 and now serves as the official tango instructor of the Argentine Embassy in Washington, DC.
Carina is an accomplished choreographer as well as performer and instructor, and her credits include teaching Madonna tango technique for her role in Evita, and choreographing the PEPSI commercial starring Shakira that was aired nationally throughout the U.S during the 2003 Academy Awards. She also co-choreographed a commercial for HSBC Bank to launch a new marketing campaign in 2005 and the National Geographic Special on the Human Body and Reproduction in 2007 that won one National Emmy and had several nominations. In 2009 Carina was the only Hispanic nominated for a Helen Hayes Award as a choreographer for her work of the World Premiere of the Musical of The Return of Eva Peron.
As an instructor, Carina teaches a style of tango, which is elegant and dynamic,while at the same time relaxed, comfortable, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone. Fabio Bonini has been performing tango for 16 years. He goes to Buenos Aires every year to dance and study with different masters. Besides 14 years of experience Fabio has a great method of teaching and an enormous understanding of the Tango universe and its nuances. He breaks down this complex art into easy and fun to learn components according to the Tango perspective his pupils want to have (Tango Salon, Fantasia, Show, Milonga, Waltz, Canyengue, Milongueiro, Close, Open Embrace, Tango Nuevo, etc). He is considered one of the most versatile Argentine Tango coach because his unique knowledge and experience. Fabio is always recognized as one of the top dancers and instructors and became known for promoting Argentine Tango in many different cities of Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, England and USA. Fabio nowadays is living in Virginia where he teaches regularly. He works with Quintango (Tango Quinted) as the main male dancer performing all over USA. Fabio teaches group classes and hosts 'La Divina Milonga', a monthly milonga (every 1st Tuesday) at Elan Dancesport Center in Fairfax. Viviana and Isidoro Levinson Were both born in Buenos Aires, where they lived for more than 30 years until moving to the United States. Although they didn't begin dancing tango until later, they were avid social dancers throughout her life. They began dancing tango seriously in 1995. Since then they have made tango a central passion of their lives, returning to Buenos Aires to study with the masters, attending tango events in other places, dancing in milongas around the world, organizing a local "milongas", performing, and teaching. Some of the many masters that they have studied are: Gustavo Naveira and Fabian Salas from The Tango Lesson, Lorena Ermocida and Osvaldo Zotto from TangoX2, Daniela and Armando Arcuri from Tango Passion, Claudio Villagra from Forever Tango, Leandro Palou and Andrea Misse, Nestor and Patricia Ray and Carina Losano and Pablo Fontana. Although inspired by many if their figures, Viviana and Isidoro’s style is distinct from these dancers. Arnaud Lucas has a background in music and ballroom dancing, but for the past 6 years he has focused exclusively on the Argentine tango. Arnaud has studied tango in Europe and in the US and regularly partners some of the best female dancers in Washington DC for classes and performances. Arnaud's natural musicality and sensitivity to his partner make him a sought out lead on stage and in social dancing. Ernest Williams Now Based in Hampton Roads, VA, Ernest has been dancing tango since 2000 and teaching since 2002. He also has traveled nationally and internationally gathering a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of dance from various sources. He has conducted workshops and privates lessons across the country including cities such as New York City, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Buffalo, Cleveland, Nashville, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Albuquerque, San Francisco and Honolulu. He has also taught several intensive tango and milonga seminars in Montevideo and Buenos Aires while living there for 6 months. A graduate of the “Master para Maestros” (Master's for teachers) program at La Escuela Argentina del Tango in Buenos Aires (School of Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires), Ernest’s teaching style is clear and detailed, and his profound knowledge of the many forms of Tango and unique perspective make him an ideal instructor for both the beginner and the advanced tanguero.
Maricela Wilson modern interpretive, African folkloric, salsa, mambo and cha cha. Her talent and abilities have been recognized from the very beginning, so much so that she was able to pay her tuition by working as an assistant to her instructors.
Maricela's first love and expertise is in Salsa, Mambo and Cha Cha.
A protégé of Michael Angelo Mendez of the Dance Academy of Salsa,
Maricela's unique style has earned her a brilliant reputation throughout the Chicago salsa scene. She is an accomplished leader and follower, highly sought after on the dance floor for her skills.
Maricela has recently become a tanguera under the tutelage of Ernest and
is now his partner in their many appearances at Tango events around the country. Her teaching philosophy is to have fun first and foremost and to impart on her students a strong foundation as well as the latest cutting edge moves and concepts.

Carlos Gutierrez has been choreographing dance routines and teaching Argentine Tango, Tango Waltz, Milonga, and Ballroom Dance Int. Latin & American style over thirty years in the Washington Metro Area and over thirty countries around the world. He is also the author of "The Body Language of Dance" and "Wisdom In Action"
Carlos & Kathryn have been performing and teaching Argentine Tango, Milonga, and Tango Watlz, in the last ten years in the Washington Metro Area.
