Beginner Salsa
on One |
Learn fundamental elements of partner work, footwork and timing for Salsa on 1. For example different types of basics: forward and back, side steps in place, cross body lead, right and left turns and basic copa.
We focus on building leading and following skills, so that you not only can dance with your classmates but also anybody outside of this class. Every month, a new beginning level Salsa dance sequence is taught and reviewed through a 4 or 8 week period.

Intermediate Salsa
on One |
Introducing more complex steps and patterns based on skills developed in the Beginning class. You will be doing different patterns with turns, cross body leads, and some styling. Continue to develop leading/ following and turning skills in order to prepare you for the next level. This class is to take the fundamentals to the next level. |

Intermediate Salsa on 2 (Mambo) |
| This class is for students who dance Salsa on 2/Mambo. Students must be able to execute basic turn patterns with ease and precision utilizing Beginner fundamentals, maintain the correct rhythm & timing quickly, without hesitation. This class will teach you to link different patterns and transition from one to the other more quickly. You will get plenty of practice dancing to different tempos of Salsa on 2, and you will learn how to effectively CONNECT with your partner. |
